Documentary Journalist

Graham Meriwether

Leave It Better

Graham founded Leave It Better Media in 2007, a company driven by these questions: What can we collectively do to heal? How will we leave our communities better for those who follow?

He has directed three feature films for Leave It Better focused on regenerative agriculture: American Meat, Farmers for America and most recently Farming. He’s directing two new features- who will feed us? about his family's journey to homestead and The Right to Food about the growing movement for food freedom in America.

In 2009, Graham founded the non-profit Leave It Better Foundation, which empowers youth-led healing. Also in 2009, Graham co-founded the collective of filmmakers the Filmshop. He serves on the board of both organizations.

Graham lives on a small homestead near Saxtons River with his family.

FOOD — What is it? How do we grow it? What is edible? What do we really want to eat? Join me in fields and farms as we figure it out! We are a community-based farm, where the relationship between humans, animals and soil is brought together to bring vitality to the Earth.
