About this speaker
Margo, along with her husband Ian, founded Chelsea Green in 1984 out of their house on the south green of Chelsea Vermont. Starting with 3 books, they ran the company together and built up the list to more than 450 titles over a period of 40 years. Margo was the President and Publisher since she stepped back into full-time management in 2003. They now live in Craftsbury Common, VT.
In 2019 Chelsea Green became a 100% employee-owned company and in 2024 Chelsea Green sold to Rizzoli Publishers. Margo is now Publisher Emeritus.
